Saddle Trial Policy

We are pleased to provide you a 5 day "trial period", during which time you can use the saddle to see if it fits you and the horse. We will first need credit card authorization for the full amount of the saddle, including tax and shipping. If you decide that you would like to purchase the saddle, please call the store at 609-333-8801 and we will process the sale and mail you a receipt. If you decide to return the saddle, we will refund your credit card for the cost of the saddle.

We ask that you agree to the following "trial period" rules in order to keep the saddle in good condition:

1. Please protect the saddle from stirrup leather marks by wrapping the leathers with plastic wrap. Please do not clean or oil the saddle, be it new or used. Also, do not run the stirrups up, as this will put marks on the saddle.
2. You are responsible for the saddle while it is in your possession.
3. You are responsible for the cost of shipping and insurance.
4. Please do not wear chaps or tall boots, and do not wear jeans. These will all leave rub marks on the saddle. Wear only short boots, please.
5. Please ride new saddles for no more than 15 minutes.
6. Please use a clean pad under the saddle.
7. If a saddle is returned with excessive wear, including scratches in the leather, nicks on the cantle, pommel etc., you will be assessed a surcharge of a minimum 10% of the value of the saddle.

You will be asked to read and acknowledge this policy in writing prior to taking the saddle for the 5 day "trial period". Thank you for your interest and understanding.
